I had an opportunity to take some pictures of a new listing in the northwest end of Brampton yesterday. This semi-detached home is very bright and spacious, and you’ll notice that the entire house features neutral tones. The home has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, and one of the key selling points of this particular model is that the laundry room is up on the second floor. As you already know, I tend to specialize in real estate in the Brampton area. However, I took some photos of a new listing in Woodbridge and thought it would be great to post up anyways. This beautiful 3000 square foot detached home has 4 spacious bedrooms, of which the master bedroom has a large walk-in closet and a charming bathroom with a jacuzzi tub. You’ll notice in the pictures that there is a large kitchen with lots of room for a breakfast area and a pantry. Here are some quick photos I took of a real estate listing I have in Brampton. This house is under power of sale. The home is a corner lot, 3 bedroom & 3 bathroom detach with a one bedroom basement apartment equipped with a second kitchen and a bathroom. There is hardwood throughout the house except for new carpeting in the basement. Both main washrooms have been updated, one of which is an ensuite in the master bedroom. There is also a main floor laundry room, something you’ll be hard pressed to find in older homes. An entrance from the garage also leads into the house.

This last week started off tremendously slow with the huge winter storm over the weekend, but then got very hectic as the bad weather disappeared and people started playing catch up with their time. Despite the erratic weather, the real estate market didn’t slow down at all. Here are some photos I took of a home in the north end of Brampton. This particular property is a semi-detached home with 4 bedrooms, 3 washrooms, and an unfinished basement.  As you can tell by the pictures, it shows like a model home and there’s been a lot spent on upgrades.

The Castlemore area of Brampton features new stunning detached homes with upscale designs in pocket communities that boast parks, ponds, forests, and river valleys. The demand for homes in this area has been brisk since home builders developed this northeast area of Brampton and continues to be hot in the resale market.

Here are some photos I took today of a home by Sandalwood and Airport Road. This detach covers over 3000 square feet, providing 5 bedrooms, 4 washrooms, a double garage, and hardwood throughout most of the house. You can tell in the pictures that thousands have been spent on upgrades.

As there is a great interest in homes in this area, I will cover some of the communities of Castlemore in a future article. Ravine lots are in high demand in Brampton, and as there aren’t too many ravines in the city, these properties usually go for a premium. Here are some photographs of a home I took in the summer that backs onto a ravine in the north end of Brampton. If you’re interested in ravine lots, the Lakelands community was recently built. The houses feature great designs and one portion of the neighbourhood backs onto a ravine.  I will be doing a feature on the Lakelands this spring, so check back often.

As for the photos below, this particular property is no longer available, but I wanted to show these pictures as the home was in fantastic condition. The boom in subdivisions in Brampton has been staggering over the last 10 years. The north end of the city, once quiet fields and farmland, has been transformed into neighbourhoods of new homes. But as the demand for new homes has increased, so has the demand for condos. Brampton features a number of condominium apartments, with a handful under development. Over the course of the next month or so, I will begin writing spotlights on each condo outlining the price ranges of the units as well as the featured amenities.
