How does this commission thing work?
Real estate transactions typically involve two agents, one that represents the sellers and one that represents the buyers. When a property is sold, the seller pays commissions for both agents. Agents that list your home will usually negotiate their commission with the seller. This commission can be as high as 2.5%, depending on the agent, the company, and what services they will provide in the sale of the home. The buying agent’s commission is typically set at a standard rate of 2.5%.
This means that in the traditional sale of a home, the seller pays 5% commission in total.
How will you save me money?
I save you money because I don’t charge 2.5% to sell your home. I firmly believe that with the advent of technology and the internet proficiency of buyers and sellers, I can sell your home through MLS and the internet for less money. I have two commission packages available that are very popular with sellers. Find which one suits your needs.
Pay me 1% to list your home, and 2.5% to the buyer agent. That means you’ll be paying 3.5% in total.

If I sell your home to my own client, you’ll pay only 1.5% commission in total! That means I’ll save you an additional 2% in commission.
Pay me 1.5% to list your home, and 2.5% to the buyer agent. That means you’ll be paying 4% in total.
